How to delete your account

Account deletion is available directly in the Gymify mobile app. The steps depend on whether you have an active membership.

For existing users

1. Open the Gymify app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab.
3. Tap Account.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm by tapping Delete in the confirmation dialog.

During account setup

If you are setting up your account for the first time and have not yet selected a membership, the Delete Account option is available on the membership selection screen.

What happens when you delete your account

Deleting your account is permanent and cannot be undone. The following data is immediately and permanently deleted:

• Profile information — name, email, phone number, address, and profile photo
• Login credentials — password, linked Google and Apple sign-in connections
• Membership — your active membership is cancelled immediately and the record is removed
• Payment methods — all stored payment methods are removed from Stripe
• Payment history — all invoice and payment ledger records
• Visit history — all gym check-in records
• Reviews — any gym reviews you have written
• Consent records — terms and conditions and health & safety acceptances
• Door access logs — smart door access history
• Home gym preference — your selected home gym
• Authentication tokens — all active sessions are terminated

Data retention

Gymify does not retain any personal data after account deletion. All data listed above is deleted immediately upon confirmation.

Payment transaction records processed by Stripe (our payment provider) may be retained by Stripe in accordance with their data retention policies and applicable financial regulations. Gymify does not have access to this data after your account is deleted.
